Cryptography Training for Every Role

Courses matched to your technical background, responsibilities, and security objectives.

🧑‍💻 Software Developers & Engineers

Build a practical understanding of cryptography and secure communications. Learn how TLS, PKI, certificates, encryption, and modern cryptographic approaches are implemented in real-world systems.

🏗️ Solutions Architects & Technical Architects

Understand how cryptographic controls fit into secure system architectures. Explore TLS, PKI, certificate management, encryption, and emerging post-quantum requirements when designing and reviewing secure platforms.

🔒 Cyber Security & IT Professionals

Develop practical knowledge of cryptographic technologies and the controls used to protect systems and data. Understand current security practices alongside emerging threats such as quantum computing and social engineering.

📊 Data & Information Professionals

Understand how organisations classify, protect, govern, and manage sensitive information. Explore Microsoft Purview alongside the wider principles of data protection and information security.

🛡️ Security & Risk Teams

Understand the technical and human factors that can undermine security controls. Explore cryptographic protection, data governance, social engineering risks, and the implications of moving towards post-quantum security.

👔 Technical Leaders & Managers

Build the knowledge needed to understand cryptography-related risks, ask the right technical questions, and make informed decisions about security architecture, data protection, compliance, and future cryptographic requirements.

Whether you're building secure applications, designing enterprise architectures, managing sensitive information, or planning for emerging security threats, this course group provides a practical learning pathway covering the technologies, principles, and human factors that help organisations protect what matters most.

What Our Cryptography Training Covers

🔐 TLS & PKI "in Practice"

Understand how TLS and Public Key Infrastructure work in real-world environments, including certificates, encryption in transit, certificate management, and secure communications design.

⚛️ Post-Quantum Cryptography

Explore the emerging cryptographic standards and approaches designed to remain secure in a future where quantum computers could threaten widely used encryption algorithms. Understand why organisations need to consider migration and long-term cryptographic resilience.

🏢 Microsoft Purview

Learn how Microsoft Purview supports data governance, classification, compliance, and information protection across the Microsoft ecosystem.

🎯 Social Engineering

Understand the human-factor risks that can bypass even strong technical security controls. Explore phishing, pretexting, manipulation, and practical approaches to reducing organisational exposure.

🎯 Bespoke Corporate Programmes

Build a customised cryptography and security training programme around your organisation's requirements — from practical TLS and PKI implementation through to post-quantum readiness, data governance, and human-factor security.

Four core courses: Microsoft Purview, TLS & PKI "in Practice," Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and Social Engineering — covering practical cryptographic implementation, data governance, and human-factor security risks.
It depends on the course. TLS & PKI "in Practice" and Post-Quantum Cryptography assume some existing security or networking knowledge. Microsoft Purview and Social Engineering are more accessible to IT professionals without deep cryptography expertise.
Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) covers cryptographic algorithms designed to remain secure against future quantum computers, which could break widely-used current encryption standards. Organisations are increasingly expected to plan migration paths in line with NCSC and NIST guidance, making this one of the more forward-looking courses in the group.
This course covers Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in practice — certificate management, encryption in transit, and secure communications design — aimed at developers, architects and IT/security professionals implementing or auditing these systems.
Yes — a dedicated 2-day Microsoft Purview course covers data governance, classification, and compliance tooling within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Social Engineering training covers human-factor security risks — phishing, pretexting, and manipulation tactics used to bypass technical controls. It's grouped here because strong cryptography alone doesn't protect an organisation if staff can be manipulated into bypassing it.
In-person in London, live online, or as a customised/onsite programme for teams, per JBI's standard delivery model across all course groups.
Current listed pricing (Aug 2026) ranges from £1,500+VAT (Social Engineering) to £2,500+VAT (TLS & PKI, Post-Quantum Cryptography), plus VAT.
