Choosing a Training Provider

Technical Training usually involves a substantial investment of money. It is important to get it right. There are a few simple questions that you may wish to ask prior to making a choice on the provider of such training:

• Who are you dealing with? Website are deceiving - Does your provider actually have permanent training premises or is it just a clever broking website
• How long has your provider been in business? Get references from organisations that have used the provider for a few years.
• Does your provider specialise in the skills that you are considering?

Background to JBI Training

Originally JBI Training was known as JB International which was formed in 1995. The Company has become known for provision of the highest quality tutor-led training courses for Computer Programmers and Web Developers.

Some of our clients will remember our first course offerings in HTML and Java. Many of the UK's earliest web and Intranet systems were built by delegates who trained with JB International. Many of those web programmers now control leading eCommerce and eBusiness activity in the UK and are building sophisticated web-enabled applications to help their organisations take advantage of these new technologies.

As interest in web-enabled technologies increased through the late 1990's, JB International became much more focused and is now recognised as a leading specialist provider of technical training.

Training Vouchers

Training Vouchers are purchased in advance and offer a very cost effective method of buying training. These are valid for a period of 12 months.Team vouchers can be shared by any member of the team requiring training. The voucher can be used on any scheduled programming course and, once set up, requires a simple telephone call or email to confirm a booking. Individual and Team voucher prices are available on request and represent substantial savings when compared to normal prices.

Public Courses

Courses are delivered in a traditional style and are tutor-led. We find that for the complex subjects we cover, and bearing in mind the pressure from organisations to get staff trained quickly, there is no better way of delivering quality training. Class sizes on our scheduled courses are kept to sensible levels so as to allow delegates to benefit from the Instructor's personal attention. Any of our courses can be delivered to your company as closed courses run especially for your company.The course content and duration could be altered to suit your business priorities.We could bring a JBI Training course to your offices or, alternatively, we could arrange for an exclusive course to be run for your company at our training centre in London.Closed courses can sometimes save you money, especially if there is a reasonable group size involved. Initially, a technical sales consultant will discuss course content with you and then arrange for the instructor to go through the course content in detail in order to ensure that your expectations will be met in full.Hands On exercises could be tailored to suit your environment and add even more value to the training delivered.
