Objectives
Technical managers are often adept at dealing with their chosen field of practice but do
not always allow their people skills to develop to the same level. This observation has
been made across a range of sectors:- professional practices such as lawyers and
accountants, scientists and often IT specialists. Research has shown that there is a need
for this kind of development work. We have developed a programme to give technical
managers the same level of competence in their people skills as their technical skills.
