Silverlight Training Course UK:
Develop rich internet applications with Silverlight (WPF/E)
Windows Presentation Foundation Everywhere has been
rebadged as "Silverlight", and is a strong contender in the
Rich Internet Application battle, whose champion has long been Macromedia's,
then Adobe's, Flash and Flex products.
Unlike Windows Presentation Foundation, Silverlight
is aimed at cross-browser support, so it doesn't support the Windows APIs
which allow access to 3D graphics hardware acceleration, but it does promise
HD-quality streaming of video and a full set of rich media features.
